Pregnant women, and those considering becoming pregnant, should postpone their travels until the “Travel Health Notice” Advisory has been removed.

• For updates, please refer to:

If travel cannot be postponed, strict mosquito bite prevention measures should be followed due to the possible association between Zika virus infection and increased risk of serious health effects on their developing fetus.

Moncton, NB, Thursday, December 10 2015 – This December, the Conceptia Fertility Clinic celebrates its 15th anniversary. Since 2000, more than 700 babies have been born with the assistance of the clinic's medical team.
"Fifteen years ago, the Conceptia Clinic moved ahead with its first in vitro fertilization (IVF). Over the years we have grown and have built a marvelous team of professionals. For the second year running, our success rate has been 15% higher than the national average. It is a pleasure to help couples achieve their greatest dream, which is to become parents," underlines Dr. Alfred Robichaud, Medical Director of the Conceptia Clinic.

15 July 2014 - FREDERICTON (GNB) – A special assistance fund has been created to help ease the financial burden of those dealing with infertility.

“The Special Assistance Fund for Infertility Treatment will provide financial assistance to those with diagnosed infertility,” said Health Minister Hugh Flemming. “Government committed to implementing this program and I am pleased that we are now able to make it possible.”

The fund will provide a one‑time grant to help alleviate the financial costs associated with infertility treatment. The fund allows individuals to claim up to 50 per cent of eligible incurred costs of in vitro fertilization or intrauterine insemination procedures as well as related pharmaceutical products, up to a maximum of $5,000.

Canadian Infertility Awareness Week (May 24 – 31, 2014)

The aim of all infertility treatments should be the birth of a healthy baby with minimum risks to the mother.

It is often thought that transferring one embryo through in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment will reduce the chances of a successful pregnancy. In fact, in certain cases, success rates of pregnancy with eSET are similar to those of double embryo transfer (DET). However, DET does increase the chance of a multiple pregnancy with the inherent risks. eSET will dramatically reduce your risk of a multiple pregnancy. Twins can appear to be the ideal outcome when you are going through fertility treatment, but a multiple pregnancy is the biggest health risk for IVF babies. One in twelve twin pregnancies results in at least one baby dying or having a significant disability. eSET is also about increasing the number of healthy IVF babies.

Conceptia is now a proud Ambassador of Fertile Future and The Power of Hope program:

Cost Reduction Program is a multi-dimensional plan that offers financial assistance to qualifying cancer patients, providing a substantial reduction in the overall cost required to pursue fertility preservation treatment.

Male cancer patients who qualify for the program can receive reimbursement of up to $350.00 for sperm cryopreservation services.
