Conceptia Fertility Clinic is open. However, the difficult decision to temporarily suspend services to individuals who are currently on the waitlist for their initial consultations (new clients) and to past clients who have not been in contact for > 12months (inactive) has occurred. This measure was required to address the backlog of patients who are undergoing investigations and/or preparing for treatment and/or undergoing treatment.
Clients who have had their initial consultation (within the last 12 months) who are undergoing investigations and/or preparing for treatment and/or undergoing treatment are not affected. These individuals are considered “active”.
As Conceptia continues to navigate through the various phases of the pandemic, our clinical capacity to offer fertility treatments also varies. This is for the safety of patients and staff and is required as we continue to follow Hospital protocols and Public Health guidelines. “Active” clients should seek clarification with us to discuss their situation specifically.
We would also like to reassure past clients who have cryopreserved materials (sperm, eggs or embryos) that everything is safe and shall remain this way.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we focus on the backlog. We strive to address this issue as quick as possible to return to offering services to new clients.
